Is This How You're Feeling?

Many clients who contact Mindflow are seeking answers after years of wondering.

Perhaps you're...

●  wondering whether ADHD or autism explains lifelong patterns

●  exhausted from strategies that don't seem to work for you

●  seeking a diagnosis for school, work or personal understanding

●  noticing a child struggling with attention, learning or social difficulties

●  wanting formal documentation for accommodations or support

●  simply wanting to understand yourself better

If any of these feel familiar, an assessment can help bring clarity.

What I Assess & Fees

ADHD Assessment — $1,800

A comprehensive evaluation of attention, executive functioning, impulsivity, and related difficulties. Includes clinical interview, standardised rating scales (Conners), cognitive and behavioural measures, and collateral information where relevant. Suitable for children, adolescents, and adults — including adults who suspect ADHD has always been part of their picture but were never assessed.

Autism (ADOS-2) — $2,400

Using the ADOS-2 — the gold-standard observational measure for autism — alongside clinical interview and developmental history. I take a neuroaffirming approach: the goal is understanding, not deficit-spotting. Suitable for children, adolescents, and adults.

Cognitive Assessments — $1,800

Evaluation of memory, reasoning, processing speed, and overall cognitive ability — using the WISC-V (children) or WAIS (adults). Useful for understanding learning profiles, giftedness, intellectual disability, or baseline cognitive functioning.

Personality Assessments — $800

A personality assessment (using the PAI / MMPI) can help build a clearer picture of what's going on beneath the surface — how you think, feel, and respond to the world. It's often used alongside other assessments to bring more clarity when a diagnosis feels unclear or symptoms overlap, helping guide more targeted support, or simply for greater self-understanding and personal growth.

Educational & Learning Assessments — $2,200

Assessment of reading, writing, spelling, and mathematics, to identify specific learning disorders such as dyslexia, dyscalculia, or dysgraphia. Reports are suitable for school accommodations, university access plans, and workplace adjustments.

Combined Assessments — Price Confirmed at Consultation

For example, cognitive + ADHD, or cognitive + autism. Fee confirmed based on the specific combination required.

What's Included

Every assessment includes:

  • A clinical interview (and parent/caregiver interview where relevant)
  • Standardised testing across multiple sessions
  • A detailed written report suitable for school, NDIS, Medicare, or workplace purposes
  • A feedback session to walk through findings and recommendations
  • Follow-up correspondence where needed

How An Assessment Can Help

An assessment isn't just a label — it's a comprehensive, evidence-based process that brings together your history, your experience, and formal testing to build a genuine picture of how you think, learn and function.

An assessment may help you:

✓ gain clarity and validation

✓ access appropriate supports and accommodations

✓ understand your strengths and challenges

✓ inform school, workplace or NDIS applications

✓ guide future treatment or intervention planning

How long does it take?

Most assessments involve 3–5 sessions across several weeks, plus report writing time. I'll give you a clear timeline at your initial consultation.

Fees

Assessment fees range from $1,450 to $2,400 depending on the type and complexity of assessment. Exact costs are confirmed after an initial consultation.

Medicare rebates may apply to some assessment sessions with a GP Mental Health Treatment Plan. NDIS funding (self- or plan-managed) can be used for assessments.

Referrals

I accept self-referrals and GP referrals. A GP referral is not required to book, but is needed to access Medicare rebates.
