Yes. I offer sessions under a range of funding options:
Let me know your funding type when booking, and I’ll guide you through what’s needed.
Yes. Appointments are available either in person in Brunswick East or Carlton North (VIC) or via telehealth (phone or video). You can choose the option that works best for you when booking.
No referral is needed for private, NDIS, or Medicare clients (unless claiming under a Mental Health Treatment Plan).
If you are accessing sessions through TAC or WorkCover, you’ll generally need a claim number and a GP referral. Some WorkCover insurers also require pre-approval before sessions can begin.
If you're unsure, feel free to get in touch and I can guide you through the process.
Yes. Information shared in therapy is confidential, except in rare cases where there is a risk to your safety or the safety of others, or where disclosure is required by law. This will be discussed clearly at the start of your sessions.
It’s completely normal to feel unsure or nervous before your first session. In our initial appointment, we’ll talk about what’s been going on for you, what led you to seek support, and what you’d like to get out of therapy. It’s a chance for you to ask questions, share at your own pace, and begin to build a sense of safety and trust. There’s no pressure to have all the answers — we’ll work things out together.
Yes. Mindflow offers NDIS support coordination services to help you understand and use your NDIS plan, connect with services, and make informed decisions about your supports.
Support Coordination focuses on helping you navigate the NDIS system and coordinate services. Psychosocial Recovery Coaching includes this but also offers more time for emotional support, planning, and working toward personal recovery goals.
You can cancel or reschedule with at least 48 hours’ notice. Late cancellations or non-attendance may incur a fee, depending on the service.
An MHTP is a plan developed by your GP to help manage your mental health. It allows you to access Medicare rebates for psychological services. Your GP will assess your needs and, if appropriate, create this plan for you.
As of July 1, 2025, the rebates are: General psychologist: $98.95 per 50-minute session. (Leaving an out of pocket cost of $111)
You can claim up to 10 individual sessions per calendar year under the Better Access initiative. After your first 6 sessions, your GP will review your progress and may refer you for an additional 4 sessions if needed.
